“Do you know," Peter asked, "why swallows build in the eaves of houses? It is to listen to the stories.” ~ J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan

the scintilla project. day 1: who am i?

i am the girl the moon watches over,
god already watching out for fools and drunks,
and maybe i would fall face down into that fool category,
no doubt, in fact,
but i am a moon kind of fool
instead of a regular kind of fool
and that,
like taking the road less traveled by,
has made all the difference.

  7. I like to hang out with moon kind of fools. They're the best kind to whisper stories to.

  8. There are few places that I can go where I know there will always be magic; this is one of those places. I'll give the half moon a quarter tonight, so she will be extra diligent.
