“Do you know," Peter asked, "why swallows build in the eaves of houses? It is to listen to the stories.” ~ J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan

exhibit 1. window.

i take images and prop them against a wall inside my computer,
as if they were paintings or words to ponder.
i wander back and wonder what i saw,
what i thought,
what drew me,
what spoke to me,
because even if i thought i knew at the time,
there are so many moments captured in that 30th of a second
patiently
waiting for me.

  1. I have visited many a museum; seen the masters, Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Rothko as well, but this is perfection in color and composition.

  3. Pictures tell us stories and your pictures always do that. When I don't know what to think about or write, I look at my pictures. It may not be what I thought at the time, but maybe it is a new thought.
