“Do you know," Peter asked, "why swallows build in the eaves of houses? It is to listen to the stories.” ~ J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan

last night the sky looked like storms

but i don't think they got here.
i heard no rain and the clouds i saw were storing sunlight
against the ending of the day.
i hold hope in my heart that they will light the sky some evening,
give the moon a run for her money.

  1. sweet sky words tonight, Deb.
    Thank you for the treat.
    Hugs !

  2. beautiful sky photo... as always love your words.

  3. amazing picture, looks rather ominous. sending you some of our "short rains" rain - it's pouring...oh is it so needed!!

  4. The clouds are amazing and storing up the sunlight just perfectly.

  5. it looks like the sky is having difficult dreams. I wish for you whatever weather you love.

  6. It keeps looking like snow here... but it never comes.
Which I am kinda sorta grateful for. Snow makes mayhem of my work week when I can't get to people's homes to teach.
But maybe one snow day would be good. A snow weekend day would be perfect.

come. sit under the emma tree & let's talk. i have cookies . . .
