“Do you know," Peter asked, "why swallows build in the eaves of houses? It is to listen to the stories.” ~ J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan

it bees a little crazy and i can use me a little playful so that is why

I will be August-breaking.
With Susannah.

At least, I will be trying.
One picture a day.
Few words or no words.
Technically, no rules though.
I cannot imagine I can go a whole month
with just a few words.
I cannot imagine I can get a picture up each day.
I imagine I will backslide here and there.
But it sounds playful,
and I can use me some playful.

There's tons of us.
Tons.
Well, at least hundreds.
Each on her or his own blog,
each August breaking,
each playing.
You don't even have to have a blog.
Susannah says y'all come
and she will explain it all.
A link is right here.

So.
Leading up to August.
I will be either noisier or quieter,
but I will be here.
I will be here in August also.
We will see if every day.

And like I said,
expect an explosion of words every few days.
And look for pictures.
They will all have captions.
Some of them may be long.

  3. Jeannine - It does sound like fun, but I am notoriously bad at sticking to this kind of thing. I try, I really do, but the day always comes where I have to have words, and plenty of them. LOL! I am, however, ready to be easy, to play, so perhaps this time will take. :)

Skye - I don't have an iPhone. I know!! :) Interesting is a good word. We will see how I do. LOL! Can't wait to watch everyone else!

  10. I saw this on beth's blog and thought about it, and now you make me think about it more...it is the words thing for me too, I don't know if I can give them up. But I have a day or two to think about it, and it does sound like fun, and really there are no rules...

  12. I love December Views so much, and I could use a mid-year break like that... Not giving up words, necessarily, but I will be posting a photo as often as I can. And knowing that words are optional is *fabulous*. =)
