“Do you know," Peter asked, "why swallows build in the eaves of houses? It is to listen to the stories.” ~ J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan

What I See When Michael Drives

It's probably a gang thing,
it's got that little devil tail,
and it resembles a lot of gang graffiti around town,
especially here downtown.
It probably means something totally different
than what it says.
But I don't care.
I'll take it at its word.

It's probably been there forever,
it's just a couple blocks down the road,
but usually I drive when we go to lunch,
and when I drive I miss everything.
Lately
the ever-wonderful Michael's been behind the wheel.
Amazing what I now see.
yesterday, in the rain

  4. isn't that the truth !
when my hubby drives, the world always looks different to me and fortunately he stops, often, so that I can get out and photograph what I'm drawn to.....

Who know the gangbangers were so self actualized! LOL.

  7. The universe speaks to us in mysterious ways.

I wish someone would drive my car for a little while. And if I do see something when I am driving, I am usually too lazy to stop. I must change this.
