“Do you know," Peter asked, "why swallows build in the eaves of houses? It is to listen to the stories.” ~ J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan

Softness and Power and Something 'bout You: Love, Day 5

love is the softness of an argument
in another town,
you walk the early morning streets
before returning to the hotel,
asking how this softness you feel
holds such power,
so much power you have returned,
and he has no answer,
only that it holds power over him also,
and the softness of that admission
is the answer to your question.

  1. Yes. Yes, I'm nodding in agreement. There is such amazing power in the softness.

Pink petals are surely the right visual. :)

  4. It's amazing how love can be soft and powerful at the same time. A lovely capture to accompany your powerful words. (xxx) =)
