Maggie gets better

Thanks to everyone who asked about Maggie - she's much better, but fights like a true cat from Hell when it's time for her medicine.

It's massage night for me, so I am off to that particular bit of bliss, and cannot linger here, but I wanted to let you all know I appreciate your very kind comments & emails about Bob & now Maggie. It means a lot.

  1. So glad to hear that Maggie is doing better! Everything has been so crazy here since I got back that I haven't gotten to spend much time on the computer. Nathan has tennis today and I have to mow since NO ONE did it while I was gone. Will e-mail very soon!

  2. Christy - thanks! I'm glad y'all got back okay & I was so glad I was able to get away & actually meet you. It was so much fun. But I was as exhausted as if I, too, had driven 8 hours. The week was just so long & I guess the anxiety of another ailing cat really got to me. BUT I'm finally getting my 2nd wind. I am just getting too old for too much emotional stuff! LOL!

  3. You are so incredibly talented! Don't EVER let anyone else tell you otherwise. It was a long weekend but worth every second. I'm glad I finally got to meet you too and I hope you weren't disappointed, I know I wasn't. Maybe next time I come to Jefferson ( I WILL be back!), I can make the side trip to Tyler.

  4. P.S. Show Robert the pictures so he knows I'm NOT a Jack Russell! Can't wait to see them.

  5. She is beautiful! I am so glad that she is doing better, it is amazing how much we worry and care about our pets. I also wanted to thank you for your lovely comment on my post. Yours words of comfort and support are much appreciated! The woman who adopted our cats has been in touch and she was very upbeat and positive about how they are settling in, that helped a lot!

    Thanks again :)

  6. Kerstin - I'm so glad to hear your cats are settling in well. I'm sure that DOES help lighten the load from your heart. Thanks for checking in & thanks for letting me know. I told your story to my neighbor Mary last night & we both felt so sad for you. She'll be pleased to hear this.

And Christy - thanks yet again. I was FAR from disappointed, and will make sure RBL knows you're not a Jack Russell! I'll email you later this week. Love ya!

  7. Lovely picture! You've a good sense for colours and especially blue ones I think. I love those blue cushions there.
